Maximus Centre completes the next stage of expansion

Sybilgroup, the investor and owner of the Maximus International Fashion & Home Art Wholesale Centre is about to complete the first stage of Centre’s expansion. Four new halls are being built in Nadarzyn, with a total space of approx. 92,000 sq.m. This will strengthen position of Maximus as the largest wholesale centre in Poland and Central & Eastern Europe. The first new hall will open this August, to inaugurate the new autumn-winter wholesale season. Further plans include enhancement of the Maximus Centre with a Factory Outlet and Stop&Shop facilities, as well as a hotel, petrol filling station and fast food facilities.

With the success of A, B, C and D halls (a total of 100,000 sq.m.) operating since 2005 the Maximus Centre will nearly double its space, with four more halls added: E, F, G and H (a total of 92,000 sq.m.). Commercialisation of the new halls is well advanced.

Pronto Moda – fast fashion without limits

The first of new halls, hall E, will house mostly Pronto Moda companies that service daily needs of boutiques with high quality fashion collections. The hall will feature a unique distribution of space to industry sectors with womenswear, menswear, kidswear, footwear, handbags and accessories. Distributors of brands and private labels which signed lease agreements for wholesale premises in the hall E sectors include both Polish and international fashion market leaders, and the leasing process is nearing end. Robert Kowalczyk, Centre’s Leasing Manager, says: "We have seen great interest in our expansion. Many major fashion companies have already signed up for wholesale stores in hall E.”

MaxiMarka – brands on wholesale

Sybilgroup, the Centre’s owner, has introduced innovative commercialisation solutions in the Polish fashion market in response to the growing demand in the Central & Eastern European fashion market for high quality stylish products bearing Italian, French, Spanish and other European brands. MaxiMarka, a special zone of permanent showrooms for display of and booking orders for top fashion collections from Polish and international brand owners has been projected in order to create a professional environment for the modern sales techniques. Brand owners, willing to rent area in this zone, will be offered an ideal space to promote their collections. The MaxiMarka concept will also facilitate access of domestic boutiques to the latest collections from Europe. “Enhancement of the Maximus Centre’s offer with the European fashion zone is the result of interest manifested by many Italian, French, Spanish and other international fashion companies, which would like to enter to or strengthen their position in the markets of Central & Easter Europe. As a result of commercialisation of the MaxiMarka hall, our Centre welcomes many new entries to the region’s fashion market like Linea Cinque, Kontessa, Marie Melody, Cherry Lou, Every Nature, Sofie Sposa, Northland and Francesco di Firenze brands, which have already signed up for showrooms in MaxiMarka” – says Krzysztof Jakubowski, Marketing and Leasing Coordinator of the Centre.

Showroom – Maximus’ fashion room

In addition, all Centre’s tenants will be able to use a 250-sq.m. Maximus Showroom, designed and furnished for professional display of premiere collections, with a catwalk, multimedia, catering facilities etc. The Showroom is located at the very heart of the complex, and will be open soon.

Global Fashion – fashion across borders

Expansion of the Maximus Center goes far beyond the European fashion industry. After hall E’s Pronto Moda and MaxiMarka, hall F will be completed in order to serve needs of Global Fashion companies from around the world. Quite many producers of private label collections from Turkey and resourcing providers from Far East have already signed up for wholesale premises in the Global Fashion zone.

Home Art – fashion at home

As a result of the Maximus Centre’s expansion, also the range of products expands, including a wide selection of home products, such as interior decoration, home fabrics, furniture, mattresses, finishing materials, and small household appliances. A zone named Home Art has beendesigned for domestic and international manufacturers and wholesalers of household products. Modular division of its commercial space will allow each company to customise the size of its wholesale premises or showroom.

With the new halls, the Maximus Centre will stand out with its high standard of sales and product presentation. Air-conditioned and comfortable halls feature modern design, spacious corridors, visitor-friendly imaging system and division into product sectors. Additional parking lots for 2,000 cars and trucks are being built around the new halls, accessible by new roads from the rebuilt poviat road of Paszkowianka.

Global Fashion Package - for fashion leaders

The Maximus Centre supports its tenants with a rich programme of diversified promotional tools, known as the Golden Fashion Package. The programme allows all tenants to access the Maximus Showroom and fashion market database, use online wholesaler module on the Centre’s website, participate in joint actions on domestic and overseas fairs and trade missions, benefit from support by fashion market specialists who manage the Centre through promotional and advertising in Poland and abroad, and exercise courses and lectures on modern sales techniques, fashion industry and market developments etc. With a wide range of actions, the Maximus Centre is a well-equipped site for presentation of product offers from various-sized manufacturers, importers and wholesalers, addressed mainly to boutique owners and other retailers in Poland and in the Eastern neighbours of Poland, for which Poland is traditionally the regional leader in the clothes & shoes and home art industries.
